What are task collections, library games and active games?

The difference between task collection, library games and active games

Task collection: A grouping of individual tasks. These can be imported into library games. You can find task collections by clicking on "Library" in the left menu and selecting "Task collections" under the "Type" drop-down menu. A task collection can be copied to a new task collection.

Library games: You can find library games by clicking on "Library" in the left menu and selecting "Game" under the "Type" drop-down menu. A game has a game type (route, distance, QR or stationary). A library game has tasks, either created directly in the library game or imported from one or more task collections. A library game can be started and then a copy of the game is made and turned into an "active game". A library game cannot be copied directly to another library game, but can be turned into a task collection as Bjørn also mentions. From this you can import the tasks into a new library game.

Active game: You can find active games by clicking on "Game" in the menu on the left. These are games that players can join via QR code, game code or link. An active game cannot currently be changed. If you want to make changes to an active game, you must find the library game, make changes there, and then restart it as a new active game. You will then receive a new QR code, game code and link to the game.
