Why do I get an error message when I log in to Wittario Studio?
Error messages such as "unexpected error" may occur when you try to log in. The error message indicates that the clock on your PC is slightly behind.
When your PC clock is wrong, programs and websites can think you are in the past or future. This can cause several things to stop working properly.
What often happens is this:
Websites can be blocked or give security errors.
Many websites use security certificates that are only valid for a certain period of time. If your PC has the wrong date or time, the browser can think that the certificate is "not yet valid" or "expired", even though the website is actually fine.
Logins can fail.
Many services use time-based login tokens and two-factor codes. If your clock is wrong, the system can think that the code or login has expired or is not yet valid.
Therefore, it is advisable to check:
that the correct time zone is selected
that the date and time are set automatically
that you have not manually entered the time incorrectly
So the error message often does not actually mean that the website or program is broken, but that your PC is perceived as out of sync with real time.
